The summer season is extending into Łódź Airport’s programme. In a release dated 29 September 2026, the operator reports 174,418 passengers since summer charter operations began on 25 April. This total covers that extended period rather than July and August alone.

Charter flights play a significant role

According to the airport’s figures, 90,209 travellers used charter flights. Tour operators offered eleven holiday destinations. Antalya is the leading destination named, with more than 40,000 passengers.

These figures describe activity during the period studied. They show the role of holiday departures in the regional flight programme, without by themselves constituting a full-year report.

Marsa Alam extended through winter

Flights to Marsa Alam in Egypt, originally due to end on 20 October, are extended until 30 March. The airport announces departures every Tuesday as part of Coral Travel Poland’s offer. Interested travellers should check the dates offered and booking conditions directly with the seller.

An additional Birmingham frequency announced

A second announcement, also dated 29 September, concerns Birmingham. From 25 October, the route is due to increase from two to three weekly rotations, with flights on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

For people living in Łódź and the surrounding region, these announcements offer options for autumn and winter travel. A trip should still be chosen using the programme actually available, flight times and the total booking price.
