Last checked: 18 September 2026.

A Saturday of industrial heritage and pop culture

On 19 September, Łódź offers a distinctly local mix: the first evening food market in Fuzja’s former power station, comic events celebrating 40 years of The Witcher, and a night half marathon affecting traffic.

Fuzja’s first evening food market

Fuzja hosts its first “targ kolacyjny” on Saturday. Food stalls, a DJ, dancing and American cars are announced inside the historic power-station setting. Confirm the updated hours on the official page before leaving.

Use the trip to see the district’s textile architecture and continue towards Piotrkowska Street. Fuzja is not a museum, so respect private and marked areas.

The Witcher turns 40

Łódź is marking four decades since Andrzej Sapkowski’s first Witcher publication. The comics autumn programme lists a 19 September meeting about the Sapkowski phenomenon. Activities are connected with venues including EC1 and the International Festival of Comics and Games. Check each listing for its venue, language, ticket and booking rules.

Evening traffic disruption

The PKO Evening Half Marathon will close streets on its route approximately from 5 pm to 11 pm. A special Z10 service is due to connect Łódź Kaliska with the central area. Leave early for trains, dinner bookings or accommodation across the course, and check MPK Łódź on the day.

Suggested route

Begin at EC1 and Łódź Fabryczna station, walk towards Piotrkowska, then reach Fuzja in the late afternoon. After 5 pm, favour walking or trams after checking diversions. Times and entry conditions may change.
